While the Douglas DC-3 is well known as the most widely produced transport aircraft in the world of it era, it's a little known fact that second place belonged to the Junkers JU-52, used for everything from military transport to bombers to airliners.
With a square box fuselage this will make a relatively easy build. Originally designed for three .20 size two strokes it would be a perfect conversion to electric.
