Super Sinbad

Designed originally back in 1943, the Super Sinbad was produced by Berkeley Models as a 62" span tow line glider.

We have taken those gorgeous, classic lines of the Super Sinbad and scaled it up to a 93" 2 channel glider for slope or bungee launch.

The body is built in two halves using an arrangement of formers, allowing you to keep that open structure but still build an accurate fuselage. The two piece wing uses the original aerofoil and is joined through a strong centre spar box with a 3mm laser cut steel wing joiner. We have also reinforced the keel area to allow installation of a bungee launch tow hook. A removable top hatch in front of the windscreen gives you easy access into the radio compartment.

The kit also includes our own completely re-drawn full-size plan.

We do production runs daily, so any kitset will generally ship within 1 to 2 working days. We ship locally or worldwide, with worldwide delivery generally between 7 to 21 days. All pricing on this web site is in New Zealand dollars.
